Making Sense Services
Paediatric occupational therapists work to build children’s skills (from foundational level to mastery) by adapting the environment and equipment (if required), to a child’s needs and providing him or her with just the right challenges, repetitions, and opportunities to engage in their occupations.
In-Home, In-Clinic & School Visits
Making Sense offers home visits, in-clinic, and school or daycare/preschool visits. The first introductory meeting is free of charge.
Even the tiniest step can bring with it a huge sense of pride and accomplishment that can become the foundation for further development and maturity for everyone.
At Making Sense, I am happy to provide assessment, screening, consultation, and treatment to start the child’s personal journey toward independence.
Assessment
The assessment may be either an initial screening or a full assessment, depending on the needs of the child, the wishes of the parents, and the available budget.
Consultation
The consultation is based on information from the caregivers of the child and my observations.
Treatment
The treatment is based on the needs of the child, the established goals, and the budget.
